In our upcoming ICT, Information and Communications Technologies, industry report, Green 4G in conjunction with JB Research, we will provide the findings of our research of leading telecommunications, cloud computing, network infrastructure, device and applications providers in regards to Green 4G/ICT efforts and enablement.

The Green 4G Information and Communications Impact Report will highlight a broad view of how the industry is both reducing its impact on the enviornment including Greenhouse gas emissions and programs and actions industry participants have taken to develop and promote effective use of Cloud 4G environments to provide favorable ecological impact and increased productivity.

The ICT industry can have a tremendous benefit that goes well beyond the 6% energy consumption used in communications and computing and the 2%-3% contribution to Greenhouse gas emmissions.  Although this study will highlight many gains made directly, a primary objective is to evaluate and rate the efforts companies are making to develop, extend, educate, promote, lobby governments, and otherwise encourage the effective use of ICT as a Green environmental enabler and societal benefit.
