Member contribution: It is time to move the agenda beyond talk. The research on Global Warming is conclusive. The cost of continued dependence on foreign oil is helping to explode U.S. national debt. And the benefits of using communications to replace or make travel ore efficient is clear. What we need now is action by corporations and government. The communications industry can and should take a direct role in developing and promoting the use of technology and collaborative "Enterprise 2.0"/Government 2.0 and other initiatives to reduce global warming. This should move quickly from a wish list or discussion topic about what can or might be done to what will be committed to make happen now and set in motion for the future. |
